I had my share of Vet visits in July. First thing was I came home, DH said something needed checking on in the house. So in I come in a rush.
Let the screen door close by itself, and heard a terrible screeching! Well go back to the door, and sure enough Blackie had tried coming in at the same time
and got his tail smushed in the door. Of course Dear Old Mom reaches over to open the door!! 
Of Course She then gets 4 sets of claws and 1 set of fangs buried in her leg!!!
Blackie ran off, seemed okay but later on we did notice a bald spot
with a scab on it on the tail. He had to see the VEt for another problem and the tail was checked, and just fine. Me--I have a large black and blue spot
between two fang entry spots, slowly going away! 
Of course the
bites and scratches bled like mad, I was dripping blood all the way to the bathroom. Man being on blood thinners is not a good thing sometimes. 
Then our orange cat, Fat Morris, was trying to get to his A-hole, and being so durn fat couldn't reach it, took him to the VEt and turned out he had such impacted Anal Glands they kept him overnight and lightly sedated and literally dug out the blockage. Back home and seems okay, still fat as a elephant!!!!!!!
Last week old Gabe the mix dog who is over 10 yrs old, has been acting weird and getting a thick crust on his hair at the skin level, gross!!!
Vet has checked it out before, but getting rid of it is not working, bathing that dog
twice a week is a miracle happening! He cannot jump, or climb so you have to bath him outside in the hose, and believe me it is not easy and I gave up!! Vet
said leave him for 30 min. we will bath him and his last Thyroid test was borderline so lets put him on some thyroid meds. and see how he does. Well he also
gave him a steroid shot and some pain pills. Something is working he is much more lively. Of course his legs are from puppy hood, so they cannot be fixed, no
hips are no hips! \
So you can see my month of July was not calm and peaceful when it came to the animals.
