I was awakened at about 4:35 this morning by my house and bed shaking! I thought at first I was dreaming, but no, I sat up to
residual shakes. Rex was wide awake, ears tipped forward and anxiously looking around from his spot in the hall outside my bedroom door (he is too big to sleep
in my tiny bedroom) and I could hear Lexi in the living room snorting, and letting out little sharp "WTF" barks. After a couple more little jolts,
things were quiet and I went back to sleep. This morning on the news it was revealed that it was a 5.2 quake, epicenter about 200 miles (give or take) away in
Salem in Southern Illinois area. It was my first quake, you don't have that here in the Midwest. Talk about a wake-up call 
ETA - why do my posts show up as being posted in the evening? I put this up at 7:30 AM not PM. Hmmm.
